I generally use to carry on the easiest example around us to give basics of theory knowledge before starting a chapter or its exercise. Students generally tends to be far away from maths and its formulaes but after taking 2-3 classes of mine, they start to show their interests on the topic. Many a times it happened in a coaching that students asked for the replacement of S.st class by my maths class for 2-3 days. So this is all about my experience with students.
